Things I’m Loving on a Sunday…

I thought I would share our Sunday with you in pictures…

I rolled out of bed with this view out of our balcony door. Such a beautiful pink hue to the sunrise this morning over our neighbor’s blue house. My very favorite color combination is blue and pink and it made me smile to think of God gifting me with this moment. What a miraculous treat I was able to take a few moments and soak up.

Some Sundays are hectic and wild. This Sunday we were able to sleep in and then lazily get ready for church. As I was passing through our bedroom I was tickled to see cotton curtains blowing in the breeze. “I just love that breeze!”

And when we stepped outside I thought it had snowed for a tiny bit of a moment. See all of those blooms across the street? Spring is finally on a roll here in Indiana. I’m enjoying the moment before the temperature plummets again this week.

Our church started this new schedule where youth group is right after church. While I think I will like the new set up, we all were starving marvins on the way home. Luckily I dug these out of my purse from my Friday trip to Target. Easter clearance candy for the win. BTW, if you find these or have tried these, I’d love to know if you like these. Leave a comment please and let us all know…We all keep trying them and can’t decide if they are good or gross. While I thought they were jordan almonds, they indeed are certainly not. They are coated in soft white chocolate and are almost horrifyingly sweet.

I am still in love with my “Bloom” sign from the Target Dollar spot, purchased a couple years ago. It is next to my diffuser in the pass through between our living room and the blue room. While I love all of the blooms and snow that the trees are showing, I noticed on the way home that we all are starting to sound and feel a little cruddy. Allergies I am sure. I got some LLP going in the diffuser to help. LLP is a simple combo of Lemon, Lavender, and Peppermint essential oils to help with allergies. And it smells sooo good!

Today we had to say good-bye to our favorite guy. As hard as it is to have Nick away with jobs, if I’m honest, it’s also been nice to have little breaks away from one another. We’ve been in tricky spot in our marriage and having little breathers for some introspection and personal reflection seems to be helping. Also thankful for all of the points he racks up at hotels, airlines, and rental car companies…useful for our vacations we’re planning!

As I write this, here is my view. A gorgeous spring day from the balcony off our master suite. I don’t use this spot too often but when I do, it’s just lovely. I need to make a point to sit out here and reflect on God’s goodness more often. Just not in the rain. Because as soon as I sat down to write, it started pouring.

I hope you had a wonderfully restful Sunday too! Love to you all. Xo
