This Could be the Start of Something Beautiful

My flowers from yesterday are still doing great. They are just as lovely in the McCoy vase that I put them in.

Flowers are one of those things that make me smile every time I walk through the room and see them. It’s a nice touch that makes a big difference.

Today Nick and I went to couples therapy this afternoon. It was nice to be on the road after being in a work meeting all day. After a great therapy session we headed up north to our closest Costco.

On our way to Costco I happened to look to the left at just the right time and spotted a J. Crew Factory. It was brand new! I had never noticed it before and Nick surprised me by just pulling in to the parking lot.

To our surprise it was open! And it was their very first day of being opened. What luck it was! They had snacks, flowers, and drinks to have while you were shopping. Having a J. Crew Factory could the beginning of a dangerous situation… or the start of something beautiful!

At Costco we got copious amounts of food for this upcoming Labor Day weekend. We are having a fun weekend with friends and have lots of fun. We also apparently are having lots of desserts and lots of cheese and buns because those are things that were assigned to me to buy.

I was super happy to see Christmas decorations coming out. Sometimes I am a lady who feels like it is too early but with the crisp fall air in the air I think that it is fun to start looking ahead to the holidays.

You know what we also bought at Costco? A delicious cheese pizza. And a lovely giant satchel of salad and a rotisserie chicken. I had salad and chicken and the rest of the family had pizza with their salad. After a long day it was such a blessing to not have to cook dinner.

Tomorrow is looking like it will be one of those days you hope will be clear and productive but you have a sneaky suspicion that it will be off the rails and crazy. Because that is just how Fridays go, right?
