Magnificent Mothers Day

This year’s mothers day was amazing. It wasn’t the most relaxing day I’ve ever had but it was so amazing.

I have had years before when the kids and Nick have practically forgotten Mother’s Day. Those were hard days to see everything that my friends had been given or their family had done for them. It felt lonely and dreary.

Those three made up for it this year. Made up for it in spades.

I woke up in the morning and was able to enjoy coffee and relax on my own. When the kids woke up they were so excited to have me open gifts.

Emma got me this gorgeous cup from Starbucks. I saw this cup and was so in love with it. She remembered and went and scooped it up for me before they sold out. Isn’t it gorgeous?

Calvin got me these amazing Bogg bag inserts for my Bogg bags. I love the color and the design. It’s such a fun pattern and will be so fun for the summer.

Nick and the kids picked me up a gorgeous orchid! It is so beautiful and I just love it.

My last gift in the morning was from Nick and he got me an apple watch! I could not believe it! It was not even on my radar and I was totally surprised! I had been talking to him about it because I am getting ready to teach summer classes again and when I am teaching I need to keep an eye on the time and watch for texts from the kids when they are home alone but trying to lead physical activities and lug my phone around was hard. I am also loving all of the features of it, especially from a health aspect. It’s been so fun so far and I can’t believe I actually have one! That stinker really surprised me!

My sister Lacey gave me these beautiful tulips. I just love tulips, don’t you?
