January and December’s Resource Recommendations

Our-Resource-Recommendations.png

Over the past few months I have really enjoyed sharing our families recommendations of resources we love. These are items that have served our family well, that we actually own, and that we have loved using. And are still using!

If you’d like to join in on the sharing, you can catch me pretty much every school day sharing something that we enjoy using over on facebook and instagram stories. For each item I try to go in-depth: go in depth with products, flip through books, and share with you ideas of how we use the items...some are good for restaurants, the car, vacation, homeschooling, or supplemental learning.

Here are some of my highlighted items that I shared during the months of December and January. Since we took so many days off for breaks there haven’t been a lot of them.

I will also link as many products as I can here so if you missed something and would like to buy it you can find it here.

A big thank you in advance if you purchase anything from these links. Links like these allow me to keep going with my site and to be able to share with y’all. I appreciate your support more than you know since I’m just a little smal business over here, all cute and alone.

Now for the list!

Candy Coins

I am going to use these for a Leprechaun scavenger hunt for St. Patty's Day!

Zhoug Sauce

I use this sauce every single day on, well...everything! It is super spicy and I love it so much! I actually get mine from Trader Joe's but I couldn't find a link...here's another one to try if you don't have a TJ's nearby. <3

Happy Planner

This is the exact planner I have and I LOVE it. Lots of blank space to create spreads and to write all of the plans down.

Young Living MAGIC Oil Blend

Drawing Wonderland

We used this to make Christmas Cards for the residents of our local nursing home. It was great practice drawing and the residents got to enjoy our creations.

Kiwi Crates

Math Adventures

I use this book for both kids when I want them to stay up on their math but we don't want to dive into lessons. It offers several adventures where you have to solve math problems to save the world!

Julia Rothman Books

These books are so cozy and beautiful. There are several about animals, plants, and food. I love flipping through them as do the kids.

Post It Tabs

We love to use these to keep our place in school books. Using these has saved us so much time. I no longer have to rifle through pages to find our spot. They come off and reattach over and over...I love them!

Graphic Organizers

This book has so many helpful things to use within the classroom either for time management or to use with lessons.

Bookshark Science

I told Y'all about how we are loving this year's science program! If you want something to supplement your kiddos virtual schooling or are looking for a new homeschool science, this is one we LOVE!

Tantrix

We have used this puzzle for years and it is still loved! It's perfect in restaurants. It builds on itself, is quiet, and ours came with a little mesh bag to carry the pieces. I keep it in my purse for when boredom strikes.

Time Tracker Mini

I've mentioned this timer several times through the years and we still love it. It is helpful to make it so mom doesn't have to keep track of time. Now that Cal can tell time and has a watch this still is useful when perhaps someone forgets to keep track of time. This eliminates the frustration.

If you want even more detail about each item be sure to follow me on Instagram or Facebook. I try to share each school day (I don’t share when we are on break and sometimes I get too busy to post.)

I'll be posting all through Februrary what our faves are. If you miss a day or can't find something, I'm planning on doing one of these round-ups each month so all of the resources are together.

These have been so much fun for our family to compilation together and I hope you enjoy them! If you have any questions about something or are on the fence about a product, feel free to reach out. I'm always happy to help another mama :)

Have you purchased an item from our #resourcerecommendations? I’d love for you to comment below what you purchased and how you're liking it.

Thank you for supporting us, sweet friends!
