Back to School Time

Today is our first day back to school. 

And while I did not have the house quite so "set everything on fire to sanitize then drag all new back in" clean, I am feeling pretty darn good.  The lessons are planned.  The laundry is done.  The house is pretty organized. 

And so we are starting back! 

This year our theme is Peanuts in the classroom and I am so thrilled at how cute it all turned out!  I love having themes simply because it gets the kids so excited to see the new decorations and gets us all loving the theme.  We've had owls and Suzy's Zoo as our theme in the past.  Calvin absolutely adores Snoopy and the rest of us love Peanuts so this was a great theme for our family.

Every year I take the kids school supply shopping.  I make them a list of what they need just like kids in school get to shop from.  So fun!

Well I hope you all have a happy back to school if you haven't started yet.  And even if you've already started, happy back to school to you anyway since you are coming back from a long weekend of loveliness!
